Import an X scraping project with read only access, discover profiles in the separate Commentary browser, or use existing PR data. Refresh X projects reloads projects; Choose X database selects a source. Enter search keywords, hashtags and known journalist handles one per line. Name and bio filters do not verify professional credentials. Use Profile must contain at least one phrase to narrow discovery. Review Maximum journalists and Recent posts per journalist. Start and Prepare combined run are separate controls; check the intended configuration before starting.

How does date filtering work?
Dates use UTC. Set optional from and through dates to narrow the research period. Old requests remain in history; unknown dates are never sent. Eligibility is checked again before dispatch.
How does expert matching work?
Expertise phrases match the actual request. You can manually assign an expert in the queue. Save factual credentials, verified biography and actual contributions; Gemini instructions can reference those details through macros.
What happens after a draft is created?
Every response is saved before sending. Review the request, expert, recipient and sender, then add and verify the actual expert contribution. Editing clears approval. Approval does not itself enable delivery.
How are browser, email and replies handled?
The independent Commentary browser finishes the entire journalist job before rotation. SMTP sender selection is explicit. The reply inbox reads the latest 100 messages without marking mail read or sending automatic replies. A received reply stops further outreach to that journalist.
