Map Extract system requirements
Prepare your Windows computer, project storage and the accounts needed for the modules you want to use.
Computer and storage
| Requirement | What to prepare |

| Operating system | A Windows desktop computer. Check the supported Windows editions and architecture in the installation package before installing. |
| Project storage | A writable local folder with space for business records, browser profiles and exports. Video publishing and PDF bundles need additional working space. |
| Internet connection | Required for online discovery, account sign in, publishing and email. Local PDF processing works without an online account. |
| Hardware planning | For several browser tasks, plan for 16 GB RAM and 20 GB free space plus your media. These are planning recommendations, not certified minimum specifications. |
| Permissions | Permission to install the application and access the folders, accounts and devices used by your selected modules. |

Additional software and accounts
Set up only the services your chosen workflow uses.

Before your first run
- Install the authorised Map Extract package and follow its included dependency instructions.
- Choose a project folder and keep a backup of your project data.
- Configure the browser account, SMTP sender or AI provider required by your selected tool.
- Start with a small search or local file and review the output before expanding the task.
Use the module setup guides for exact controls. Install runtime components only when the Map Extract package requests them, using the publisher links it supplies.
