Your first source-linked research project

Before you start

Use an authorised development installation on Windows. Public demo and signed downloads remain unavailable. Begin with a project, one keyword, one location and a small limit; email or Android setup is not needed for this task.

1. 1. Open the project menu

   Create or select the project for this research. Check its name before changing settings.

2. 2. Describe and review the campaign

   In AI Campaign, describe the businesses and locations you want. Gemini proposes suggestions. Review niche keywords and locations, then Confirm and merge.

3. 3. Choose and save keywords

   Search the unified niche category list and choose Use selected niches. Alternatively, paste one keyword per line and Save pasted keywords, or import a Notepad file.

   Save the intended location and country before building the search.

4. 4. Choose and save locations

   Select the country, regions and target areas. Broad mode uses principal cities. Use selected locations, paste one location per line or import a Notepad file.

5. 5. Generate the search matrix

   Name the project in Map Searches. Choose Generate search jobs. Five keywords and eight locations create forty jobs per enabled platform.

6. 6. Set the discovery limit and start locally

   In Discovery, set Results per keyword and location, then Save Maps discovery limit. Use the local Start control to process saved jobs. Review zero results, wrong geography and source alerts.

Expected result and recovery

The project contains the records actually observed, with source evidence. Review Activity for blocked or failed work. Pause or stop through the supported local controls; inspect saved progress before restarting. Do not treat an empty source failure as a complete dataset.

If no records appear

Check that the keyword and location are enabled, the source is accessible and the generated search is in scope. Inspect Activity and the source page before increasing limits.
